Last Saturday I went to the Briar Hill Primary School Spring Fair with my friends Judith and Viv. The fair is a combination children’s activities and performances by the students along with a market.
We joined a range of stall holders and set ourselves up to hock our wares.
I brought patterns and yarn, Viv brought a selection of her wonderful project bags and Judith brought her gorgeous dolls clothes and patterns. (I’ll tell you more about these talented gals and their goodies in another post).
While it wasn’t a great market for us sales-wise, we did get to spend a day knitting and chatting and drinking coffee. We also got to chat to various knitters as they fondled the yarn and promised themselves they would NOT add more to their already considerable yarn stashes.
So even though it was a slow sales day, we made the most of having nothing to do but knit and chat. I’d call that a success.

Thanks. I should be adding the yarn to my Etsy shop this Sunday (3 Nov).
