The Coburg Yarn Market is all over for another year!
On Sunday 13 May I got up early to set up shop at the Victorian Handknitters Guild Yarn and Craft Market at Coburg Town Hall. I had a very brief chance to look at some of the other stalls before the early shoppers started to arrive.
It was a busy day, and I got to meet a lot of my customers who I usually only get to interact with online.
Geoff’s free-range pom-poms were a hit, and he became very proficient at demonstrating how to attach them to a knitted hat. I still have some pom-poms left and I’ll be listing them in the online shop in the next few days.
I also have some yarn that I dyed for the event that I haven’t added to the shop yet, so that’s on the way too.
Given how tired we both were after a single day on our market stall, I’m not sure I’d be tough enough for a three-day event like the Bendigo Sheep Show – although I hope I get a chance to go as a shopper this year.
