After being so busy with last weekend’s yarn market I’ve finally found a few moments to update the online shop.
Today I added two colours in a new yarn base called Merino Pearl Sock Yarn as well as a few new skeins of the classic Champagne Sock.
Merino Pearl is 75% Merino and 25% nylon with a distinctive twist that you can see in the pictures below. It’s quite plush and lofty for a 4ply sock yarn and I’ve kept a skein for myself to knit up a lace scarf or shawl.
The new colours are Lamington (below left) and Wintergarden (below right).
Lamington is – well – it’s lamington coloured! Chocolate, cream and raspberry colours in this yarn will not pool unattractively when knitted up. The chocolate colours make it a good option for men’s socks too.
Wintergarden is a mix of pale blues and pearly greys with little flashes of poppy red. As with Lamington, I’ve placed the colours to make sure there will be no big blobs of colour pooling when you knit it up.
Along with the two new yarns in the Merino Pearl Sock Yarn base I’ve added a few new colours of the Champagne Sock yarn too.
