Sometimes the simplest patterns can be just as rewarding as complex ones.
Recently I made up a few striped scarves to show off my hand dyed yarn. Nothing too fancy – just two colours in stripes of two rows each over a 1 x 1 rib pattern. It’s so simple that I knitted up two scarves in two weeks just vegging out in front of the telly.
They’re not challenging or fancy – just the simplest thing you could do with two colours.
Although they were just meant to be samples to show off the yarn, I’ve decided to make up kits.
Over the next few days I’ll update the online shop with complete knitting kits. Each kit will contain yarn, needles, pattern, tapestry needle and a reusable project bag. All I need to do is arrange some photos with a model for the pattern leaflet.
Stay tuned.
